The dedication of Weevil Walk, a gathering of All-Americans, and the 40th anniversary of the African-American Alumni are among the highlights of homecoming weekend at the University of Arkansas at Monticello October 11-13.
            Homecoming festivities incluce the UAM Sports Hall of Fame honoring the class of 2007 at an induction banquet in the University Center.
            Other homecoming highlights include the dedication of Weevil Walk  on Friday, October 12 at 4:30 p.m. followed by the presentation of the Alumni Awards at the annual A&M/UAM alumni dinner at 7 p.m.

Thursday, October 11
12:30 p.m. – Homecoming Parade 
 
3-5 p.m. – “Red” – Beyond Football, Jimmy “Red” Parker book signing.
 
5:30 p.m. – UAM Sports Hall of Fame Reception.
                  
6:30 p.m. – UAM Sports Hall of Fame Banquet.
 
7 p.m. – Bonfire and Pep Rally.
 
Friday, October 12
11 a.m. – 44th annual Golf Tournament.
 
1:30-3:30 p.m. – Get Together for the Class of 1957 and Friends.
 
4:30 p.m. – Dedication of Weevil Walk.
 
6 p.m. – Welcome Home Reception, A&M/UAM Alumni.
 
7 p.m. – A&M/UAM Alumni Dinner & presentation of Alumni Awards; recognition of A&M Class of 1957 and All-Americans in all sports.

11 a.m. – Tailgate Parties at Weevil Pond.
 
1 p.m. – Weevil Walk of Champions and Pep Rally at East of Weevil Pond.
 
2:30 p.m. – Pre-game Ceremonies &Presentation of 2007 Homecoming Court and Coronation of Homecoming Queen.
 
3 p.m. – Kick-off, UAM vs. North Alabama
 
Halftime – UAM Pride Band performance &Recognition of 2007 Sports Hall of Fame inductees and All-Americans in all sports.
 
After the game – Annual Meet-and-Greet for Classes of 40’s & 50’s and friends.
 
7 p.m. – Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity 32nd annual Alumni Fellowship.
8 p.m. – A&M/UAM African-American Alumni Black and White Ball / Black tie dinner.
Sunday, October 14
11 a.m. – A&M/UAM African-American Alumni and Friends Worship Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
