UAM’s “Super 8″ round-robin girl’s softball tournament start today.

The first game will be played at 12 noon, at UAM field, and will pit UAM against Valdosta State.

There will be tournament games played at the Monticello Sports Complex, as well.  The first games there include; on field #1-Arkansas Tech vs. Univ. Alabama-Huntsville; and field #2, OBU vs. Univ. North Alabama.

Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for students.

The tournament is under the direction of UAM girl’s softball coach, Alvy Early
