UAM sets freshman reg
Published by UAM News August 6th, 2007 in UAM News.The University of Arkansas at Monticello will host orientation for first-time freshmen and new transfer students on Monday, August 20, according to Mary Whiting, director of admissions.
UAM will host two sessions for first-time freshmen beginning in the Fine Arts Center. Students with last names beginning with A through J will attend the first session at 9 a.m., while students with last names beginning with K through Z will attend the second session, which begins at 11:30 a.m. New transfer students will attend a session that begins at 2 p.m.
Following the initial programs, students will be able to complete other needs, including admission, registration, housing, financial aid, purchase of parking permits, billing, student I.D. cards, special student services, and bookstore purchases.
UAM will hold a night registration for all classes from 5 to 7 p.m. on August 20 in the Adams Room of Harris Hall. Open registration for the fall semester will be held on Tuesday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
