Arkansas bass fishermen looking for something a little different in their next boat should take a look at the custom-built Boll Weevil bass boat currently being raffled by the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

The 15-foot boat was built by Team Ward for War Eagle Boats of Monticello and donated to UAM to help raise money for the university’s Campaign for Athletics. UAM is conducting a raffle for the boat with the winner to be announced at halftime of the UAM-Delta State football game on November 10.

Raffle tickets are $10 each and may be purchased by contacting the Department of Athletics at 460-1058. Raffle participants must be 18 or over.

The 15-foot Kelly green boat includes both Boll Weevil and university logos. The inside bottom of the boat is lined to look like a football field.
