UAM nursing students travel to Anaheim

Five nursing students from the University of Arkansas at Monticello are joining new nursing division Chair Pam Gouner in Anaheim, California this week for the 55th annual convention of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). The convention, which runs from April 11 to April 15, features keynote speakers Dr. Beverly Malone, former deputy assistant secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services in the Clinton administration, and Rear Admiral Christine Bruzek-Kohler, director of the Navy Nurse Corps and chief of staff of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington, D.C.
