First-time freshmen planning to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello this fall may pre-register for classes today beginning at 12:30 p.m. or tommorow beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center, according to Mary Whiting, director of admission.
            First-time freshmen who have applied for admission have been sent notification by mail with a request to respond if planning to attend.  The Office of Admission will host a session for parents in conjunction with pre-registration to provide information about the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) as well as information about financial aid, residence life, information technology and student programs and activities.
            New fall transfer students who have completed the admission process may pre-register for classes June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. These students have also been notified by mail with information on responding if they plan to attend.
