UAM FOOTBALL SET TO END SPRING OFF-SEASON WITH SCRIMMAGE AND SPRING GAME
Published by UAM News April 14th, 2008 in UAM Sports.The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team will end its spring off-season with a scrimmage and its annual spring game on the next two Saturdays.
This upcoming Saturday, Apr. 19, the team will conduct a scrimmage on the UAM practice field starting at 3 p.m.
Next Saturday, Apr. 26, the team will hold its spring game at the Monticello High School football stadium, Hyatt Field, starting at 5 p.m.
With both events being open to the public, anyone interested in UAM football is encouraged to attend. Admission is free of charge.
The Boll Weevils are set to open their 2008 season with a non-conference game at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday, Aug. 30 starting at 6 p.m. The first home game for the Weevils is scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 6 against Missouri S&T, formerly known as Missouri-Rolla.
