The licensed practical nursing (LPN) program at the UAM College of Technology-McGehee has changed starting dates to better coincide with the nursing program at UAM’s main campus in Monticello.
            The UAM COT-McGehee LPN program will now begin in January and run through mid-November rather than start in August as it has in the past. The change was made to allow LPN graduates who plan to enter the LPN-to-RN program at UAM to complete the prerequisite course work in the spring before entering the advanced program in summer.
