The University of Arkansas at Monticello concert choir will present its fall concert on Monday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.


            Under the direction of Dr. Kent Skinner, director of choral activities, the choir’s performance will include “Song of the Open Road” by Norman Delo Joio, with guest trumpeter David Laubach. Other featured works will include “Zigeunerleben (Gypsy’s Life)” by Robert Schumann as well as selections by Josquin Des Prez, Jan Pieters Sweelinck, and Franz Joseph Haydn. The choir will also perform spirituals and seasonal selections and be accompanied by Dr. Paul Becker, pianist.
