The University of Arkansas at Monticello symphonic band and percussion ensemble will present a free public concert, tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center auditorium.

            The symphonic band, under the direction of Gary Meggs, will perform Gary P. Gilroy’s “Fire,” David Holsinger’s “On An American Spiritual,” “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” by Elliot Del Borgo, and “Kalinnikov’s Symphony No. 1” by Glenn Cliffe Bainum.
            The percussion ensemble, conducted by Les Pack, will perform “Introduction” and “Rondo” by Elliot Del Borgo.
