Tyson to Hire 25 From Monticello
Tyson is finalizing plans to employ approximately 25 Monticello/Drew County residents to work second shift in the chicken deboning area at their Pine Bluff plant.
The hiring process will be done through the Monticello Workforce Office, and the employees will be working this month.
Plans are for Tyson to provide a bus to pick up the workers with a bus, at the Monticello tomato shed, which has rights to it’s use leased to the MEDC, (who approved the required document Wednesday), during the afternoon, and return them to their vehicles during the early morning.
Tyson’s Jefferson Parkway management wants to compliment MEDC’s Truman Hamilton, and Mayor Joe Rogers for making this opportunity take place so quickly.
