Truck Wrecks While Trying to Avoid Log Truck

This Chevy pick-up truck, it’s driver, and passenger, swerved to avoid a log truck and traveled through a ditch, embankment, and then approximately 50 foot, before coming to a stop.
The accident occurred near Lacey, at the intersection of 425 and Sid Caperton road Wednesday.
The pick-up was from Ashley County, and the log truck in question belongs to Harry Rhodes Trucking. There appeared to have been no contact between the 2 vehicles. The driver of the log truck was not aware that the pick-up had wrecked.
The driver and passenger of the small truck were transported to Drew Memorial by SEEMS.
The wreck occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m.
