October 13 2009 began his thirteen week training were he was trained in Martial arts, expert marksmanship, customs and curtsies, first aid, drill, and he overcame the crucible. Now that he is a fully qualified United States Marine his next step will be Marine Corps Combat training on Camp Pendleton CA. After he completes that training he will report to Pensacola, Fl to complete his training as a Combat Photographic Specialist.

Don’t know you but congrats Semper Fi
You did a great job, Kenneth. Your commitment is an inspiration, and I’m thankful there are people like you with such will to serve our country. God bless.
I had the pleasure of working with Kevin when he was at Wal-Mart. He had a great personality and a great work ethic. To lose that much weight so he could achieve his goal is amazing but not totally surprising. He must have followed closely to his parents examples and teachings not just now but throughout his life so far.
I am proud to say I know Kevin. Keep up the good work and dedication to yourself and your country. May God continue to bless you and watch over you.
Congratulations to you and your parents.
Hey Kevin, I’ve got to say that you done a great job by losing that weight and by setting a goal and reaching it!!! You told me you was going to do it and you did. It takes alot of work and mindset to do what you have done.
I call this young Marine a true Patriot! What commitment! The best of luck to him always & thanks for serving the USA!
Kevin is an admirable, determined, intelligent young man. When he first told me that he wanted to be a Marine, I told him to go into another branch of the military. He told me no, I want to be a Marine!!! I was terrified but respected what he wanted. Kevin started to workout, lift weights and diet. He lost the weight. Alot of people would have been deterred because of the weight requirement, but not Kevin. He set a goal and met it. I am very very proud of him. It takes a lot of courage to enlist in the military at a time of war. I just want to say thank you for wanting to protect and serve our country. We have a Uncle who is a retired marine and he has helped Kevin along the way. He has an excellent family that truely supports him. He is a God-fearing man so I know that he is going to be fine. So on behalf of the Trotter family, I would like to say that we love you and support you 100%!!! What a handome young gentleman!!!
Huuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Good job Kevin……stay strong.
