The members of the 39th National Guard unit that arrived Thursday for a short vacation with family members, will be leaving Monticello this afternoon around 3 p.m., from the VFW Hut.

Several of the Monticello based unit were able to return for a short visit with their families, but will be traveling back to Camp Shelby, Mississippi, before being deployed to Iraq, in the very near future.
