Trees Being Cleared for Hospital Expansion
January 7th, 2010 by Joe BurgessTrees located on the land north of Drew Memorial Hospital are being removed to make room for the future allied health building, and the proposed medical office building that are planned for the site.

DMH CEO Mike Layfield described the tree removal as “bittersweet”, explaining, “We don’t like to see the beautiful trees go, but we need to take them down to make way for Hospital and health service expansion. Clearing the land now, one year in advance of construction, will allow the land to settle in for our building modernization project.”
