The Southeast Arkansas Cornerstone Coalition has a transportation forum planned for May 15th to be held at The University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Representatives from the Arkansas Highway Department, Louisiana Department  of Transportation and the Mississippi Department of Transportation are  scheduled to attend.  The Forum will be held in the Capital Room of the Gibson Center.   Work is currently being done on  Highway 425 in  Louisiana to widen the highway to four lanes.  There is also a study being done on the extension of I-530 through south Arkansas to Louisiana,  eventually to I-20 near Monroe, Louisiana.
