Toxic Trash??

A residence on Texas Street had their weekly trash waiting by the road, Tuesday morning.
The containers, however, were marked at “BIO-HAZARD”.
Although it appears to be a simple case of re-using boxes, it wasn’t the best choice of boxes to choose to put your trash in. Not to mention, they’re not the approved city containers.

For your information, the boxes were used to move with. These people are from out of state and did not know the city would not pick them up. THEY ARE NOT HAZARDOUS!

DID you happen to notice all the trashy houses? Why don’t you put those hazardous conditions on your site?
These boxes are on the side of the road piled in a neat pile not all over the yard looking like a land fill exploded on it.
Criticizing people’s trash now.

I agree with Royce if it were Toxic I believe it would have been taken to the proper place to be disposed of!! We the CITIZENS OF DREW COUNTY DID NOT ASK FOR THE STIPID GREEN TRASH CANS!! The county took it in the own prospective to do it! Just because they wanted to save money and let go of a few men the did work and pick up the trash! To a one man once a week pick up just to save money!!! Then buy a PRICEY NEW GRABBER TRUCK!!! I can only speak for myself when I say this WE NEED OUR TWICE A WEEK PICK UP BACK!!! I HAVE A FAMILY OF SIX AND THAT MERE LITTLE TRASH CAN JUST DOESN’T CUT IT!!! I called to see how much another can would be and guess what people they are $60.00!!!! End of Rant!!
The post office won’t take boxes with that on them, why should the trash people? Besides, I thought they wouldn’t pick up anything that wasn’t in your trash container. What you seem to leave out is the trash people don’t know these people from Adam. You seem too and I’m sure that would make a difference. Why can’t we just have problems with things that really matter and not trivial things. It would make for a much better world.
Id like to know if they will pick up trash not in the containers. Our single container was actually overflowing this week due to a large family gathering. I probably broke some law tying to remain within the guidelines set by the city. I snuck a couple bags of trash into my neighbors container. I didnt want the trash laying around another week. I can see it now, man is shot putting trash in his neighbors trash can in the middle of the night. Only in monticello.

If the trash man doesn’t even have to touch the boxes where’s the hazard? There’s more hazardous stuff in those landfills than stickers on boxes. We recycle cardboard here and by the looks of it they recycled where those folks came from too.
