There have been unconfirmed reports of the spotting of two funnel shaped clouds south of the Collins community, in the Cut-Off Creek area.
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING FOR ASHLEY AND NORTHERN CHICOT COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS UNTIL 700 PM CDT
AT 620 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 7 MILES SOUTH OF SNYDER…OR 9 MILES EAST OF HAMBURG…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 32 MPH.
THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR… SNYDER BY 625 PM CDT… PORTLAND BY 630 PM CDT… MONTROSE BY 635 PM CDT… LAKE VILLAGE BY 655 PM CDT… MCMILLAN CORNER BY 700 PM CDT…
IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO…THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEN EGG SIZE HAIL AND DESTRUCTIVE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.
