A tip to the Drew County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a Monticello man, Friday evening.

According to reports, the tip to authorities told of someone cooking crack at a residence on South Dillard St.

Following a stakeout by Drew County deputies Shane Hale, Rex Davis, and David Wesson, the subject, Undrea Lamb left the residence in question, and then ran from a traffic stop.

He traveled down Jackson St., turned on Conley, and then fled on foot.

Officers Hale & Davis chased and caught Lamb.

During the process Deputy Hale saw the subject throw a cocaine rock into the bushes.

Lamb was arrested, and the illegal substance recovered.

Undrea Lamb is being held in the Drew County Detention Facility, pending court hearing.
