Tie up a Blue Ribbon for the Billies
November 24th, 2009 by Monticello Schools
The Monticello Billies will be at home again Friday night for the semi-finals in the 5A State Championship. Tailgate is 6pm and Kick-off is set for 7:30pm. The Boosters would like Monticello to show their support for the Billies by tying blue ribbons up for the Billies.
Everyone can be a part of welcoming the Monticello Billies home for the Thanksgiving holidays by buying blue ribbon and tying bows on their mailboxes, trees, front doors and car antennas. Businesses are urged to put blue ribbons on their signs and doorways, also.
Area stores and florists will be selling Billie Blue bows this week, so that everyone can be part of the “Billie Experience”.
In addition, Billie fans are asked to wear a blue ribbon to show their Billie pride and support.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to spend with your family and friends. Come be part of the Billie family and support the Billies as they work their way toward a State Championship.
