Through With Chew/ Great American Spit Out

Through With Chew Week: February 17-23; this is an annual week-long event to draw awareness to the dangers of smokeless tobacco use. Through With Chew offers tools and resources for educators and businesses in order for them to raise awareness to their students, faculty, staff, etc. as well as to work towards providing a tobacco-free workplace.
Great American Spit Out: February 21; this 24-hour event occurs during Through With Chew Week and in this time, smokeless tobacco users are encouraged to quit for a day and ultimately for good. Users are encouraged to quit through raised awareness of the harmful effects of smokeless tobacco as well as through education of various quitting strategies.
