This GMC pick-up hit the back of the Ford pick-up, shown below, which hit another pick-up which had stopped to turn in at Jenkins’ Convenience Store on HWY 278 E. around 12:30.

At least two other accidents also occurred this morning.

There was a wreck at Union Bank’s University Branch late this morning, where a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle in the drive through lane.  Neither car was towed.

Also, around 8 a.m., a small cycle or moped collided with a cable that was tied to a post on the parking lot, behind Commercial Bank’s Branch near the 425 / 278 intersection.

The driver of the cycle reportedly had a leg injury, and SEEMS ambulance responded.
