Surburban Stolen, Wrecked, Burned

According to Lt. Rick Rausch of the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept., there was a break-in at a home on HWY 425 South, Friday night after 8:30 p.m.  After entering the residence, they also took the resident’s white Chevy Surburban, which was found later that night, wrecked, and burned.

The vehicle was off the road on Lone Sassafrass Road, approximately 2 miles from the residence.

This is a sad day when you leave your home, even for one night that you are violated in such a way. I have had my place broken into and things stolen. I felt like they took my soul. Some items were not replaceable, the things were not worth anything, but had a sentimental value only to me. I know that this violation is wrong and I hope they catch the guy that did this!!!
