Stolen Car Case Solved When Driver Drove by Scene of Theft
Published by Joe Burgess September 4th, 2008 in Police /Legal.Around 5:30, Wednesday August 27, a Monticello Police officer was at the scene of a stolen car, interviewing the owner of the missing vehicle. The owner felt he knew who had taken the vehicle, but while the officer was filling out the report, the car drove by the scene, and was quickly stopped by the officer.
Jonathan Evans, age 24, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, DWI 2, and driving on suspended license.
