Smoke Inhalation Victim Treated after House Fire

Minutes after 7 PM, Sunday night, Monticello Firefighters and another first responders received report of a house fire near the 1200 block of Railroad St., with the possibility of a victim trapped inside the residence.
First responders included MFD, MASI, OEM and law enforcement.
The fire was mostly in the attic, and is believed to have been caused by an improperly vented hot water heater.
The victim was receiving medical treatment inside the ambulance.
