Alan Dickerson, the driver of this Chevy pick-up, was taken to the local hospital, before being transported to Little Rock for treatment, following a single vehicle wreck on E. Jackson St., 2 blocks east of Cherry St.

The Monticello Fire Dept. responded to the call, and used the “jaws of life” to extricate Dickerson from the vehicle.

The truck seems to have left the roadway, while traveling east, and ran directly into a pine tree, across the ditch.
