Shooting Witness takes Witness Stand

Cory Davis, an admitted multiple felon (as described from the stand) was called next.
He told that he, Briggs and Thompson were all friends.
Around 9 pm, that night, after Briggs’ text to Thompson’s wife, multiple calls/texts were interchanged, before that gathered at Briggs’ house.
According to Davis, the men talked outside for around 5 minutes, when Briggs had the other 2 men come inside.
Davis continued by saying that Briggs sat down on the couch. After a short conversation, Briggs went and got a gun, the returned and began shooting Thompson.
“Why did you shoot him?,” and then more shots were fired. The Briggs jumped on Thompson, and took Thompson’s gun away from him.
“Do you know if Eric was pointing the gun at Myron?,”. “No.”
“Did you know before you went over there, that either had a gun.” “No.”
The court took recess at 2 pm.
