Shooting in Monticello, Sunday Evening

A 20-year-old Monticello man was critically injured Sunday evening around 6:05, when he suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
The shooting reportedly occurred at a residence on Lincoln Court, in Monticello.
The victim, Deangelo Martin, was transported by SEEMS to JRMC, then a helicopter to UAMS.
Monticello Police and Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies were still on the shooting scene, late into the evening.
One felony arrest has been made in the case, the suspects name has not been released at this time.
The suspect is being held without bond until a first appearance hearing.
Pending charges will likely be announced on Monday.
