Sheriff’s Dept. Makes Arrest for Auto Theft, Unrelated to Above Story
Published by Joe Burgess November 15th, 2007 in Police /Legal.The Drew County Sheriff’s Office filed a warrant of arrest for Michael Deweese for Theft of Vehicle, and for Theft of Property over $500 under $2,500.
Deweese had originally taken a vehicle to repair it, and also was paid in advance for the work. The vehicle was not returned.
Deweese was arrested by Dermott Police, and transported to Drew County to face charges.
Bond was set at $3,000 by Monticello District Judge Ken Harper.
