Darrell Butler, of Mabelvale, was brought before District Judge Ken Harper, who continued his $10,000 bond for the charge of theft of property over $2,500, for the break-in at AM Racing.

Little Rock detectives arrested him without incident at his mother’s house in early May, for other theft of property charges unrelated to Drew County.  Butler was transported to Drew County earlier this week from Conway.

According to Lt, Rick Rausch, of the Sheriff’s Dept., the case is ready to be turned over to the prosecuter’s office.

According to Investigator Rick Rausch of the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept., Darrell Butler has been arrested for the recent burglary of A&M Racing’s building at Monticello Speedway.

A tip informed police that Butler was to be in the Mablevale area over the weekend, and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested him there.

Butler has been charged with theft of property over $2,500, and criminal mischief, 1st degree.  

Butler is being held in the Pulaski County Jail, and also faces charges in Little Rock and Arkadelphia.
