Shawn Maloney Named “Monticello Firefighter of the Year”

Shawn Maloney has been chosen as “Monticello Firefighter of the Year” by the members of the Monticello Fire Department.
Maloney was selected for this honor because of “his dedication to the deptarment, and his outstanding work ethic, both at the station, and at the fire scene,” according to Monticello Fire Chief Steven Faulkner.
Maloney began with the department in March of 2000, and moved to a full-time position a couple of years later. He also works at A&M Rental.
Congradulations Shawn, for a job well done!!
