0171.JPGAlex Rayford (mid 30’s) was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, Monday afternoon, by Monticello District Judge Ken Harper.

The details of the case, which was reported Thursday, are closed, since a juvenile is involved.

Bond was set at $75,000, and Rayford is being held in the Drew County Detention Facility.  If he is able to bond out, he has been ordered by the court not to contact the victim or the victim’s family.

    He ought to be ashamed of himself messing around with a young child and he has several children of his own that are teens. He should have thought about how his children would feel to be put in this situation. I know it has to be very embarassing for the ones who are old enough to understand.
