Stolen Pistol Recovered, Search Warrant Results in Arrest by DCSO
January 16th, 2010 by Joe BurgessAccording to Sheriff Mark Gober, Drew County Sheriff’s Department officials executed a search warrant on the home of Anthony D. McCraney, age 44, Thursday.
McCraney, who lives at 805 East Oakland, was placed under arrest and charged with felony in possession of a firearm and theft by receiving. The weapon is a 25 caliber handgun and was identified as stolen out of Stone County, Arkansas.
McCraney’s bond was set at $1,500. He posted bond on Friday.

Just concerned…Why do these bonds for somebody who is a
felon in possession of a firearm, only have a $1,500.00 bond??
This seems to happen too often…$1,500.00 is just pocket change
to some people. I think the bond should have been more. Does
anybody agree with me?
