Friday, afternoon, at 3:25, Monticello Police received a call reporting a two vehicle accident on Highway 278 West, near Dollar General and the apartments.

Sources at the scene  told MLive that a school bus had stopped to unload students. A Jeep stopped behind the bus. “The Toyota pick-up did not stop in time, and collided with the rear of the Jeep.”

No injuries were reported.
