Ryburn Motor Co. & Toyota Present Donation To UAMOctober 12th, 2012 by UAM News
Ryburn Toyota of Monticello and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., have teamed to make a $5,000 contribution to the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Toyota Motor Sales matched a $2,500 contribution from Ryburn Toyota, with half the proceeds earmarked for the university’s Student Ambassador program and half for the Student Alumni Delegates.
The Student Ambassadors work with the Office of Admissions in the recruitment of new students and serve as official representatives of the university at both on-campus and off-campus events. The Alumni Delegates assist the Office of Alumni Affairs in hosting events on and off campus, including alumni receptions, hospitality rooms for athletic events, and homecoming.
“Ryburn Toyota is proud to support UAM and all its activities,” said Bennie Ryburn, III, president and chief executive officer. “The university is a vital part of our community and we are committed to its success.”
The Toyota Dealer Match Program enables dealer contributions to make a greater impact on the community. Since 1991, Toyota has contributed more than $500 million to non-profit organizations, and has always been guided by a strong belief in serving the communities where it does business, according to a Toyota release.
