Rumor about Local Convenience Store Robbery is Untrue

This morning, there is an unconfirmed rumor circulating around Monticello about a convenience store robbery, last night.
MLive spoke to MPD Chief Eddy Deaton, who told us that there was a robbery in Pine Bluff, but the only robbery in Monticello was the Economy Inn robbery that was reported yesterday.
There has been no other robbery reported in Monticello.
