Just got back from the concert and all I can say is WOW!!!! It was GREAT!!! Rob’s graciousness and humility made us all feel comfortable and welcome even though we knew of his many talented accomplishments. His guest Mark Currey, Frank Ferguson and Rumer equally showed their talent too. The Monticello class of 1982 was well represented by a wonderful evening of entertainment. And to think we were there when he remembered his roots reclaiming his childhood name Shirakbari. Can’t wait till he comes back next year!!!!!!!
The concert last night was a nice treat! It just didn’t last long enough. Monticello can be proud of its hometown kid. The special guests helped make it a special night as well.
This was a great concert! It makes me proud to be a member of the class of 1982. I think we had the best class ever!!!! We love each other like family. Rob did a great job as did Mr. Ferguson, Mark Curry & Rumer. Rob was down to earth & very humble about where he comes from. Monticello is a great town with great people. Kudos to Susan Akin & her team for thinking of this great idea. I cannot wait until next year!!!!

Robbie’s performance was beautiful and mesmerizing, and Mark’s voice is amazing! It was so great to listen to Robbie and Mark perform together once again! It brought back so many wonderful memories! I hope I can make it down there next time! Thanks for posting these videos! Now I need to buy the song “God Give Me Strength” – wow!!!
