Final plans are being made for this year’s Relay in Drew County to be held at McCloy Park beginning at 6:00 Pm on June 20, and lasting through the night until 6:00 AM on the 21 st.
Teams have been formed, money is being raised and local talent is scheduled to entertain all through the night. Two very special ceremonies are being planned, first the Survivor’s celebration walk and then later in the evening a Luninaria ceremony will be held to honor survovors and to remember those who have lost the battle to cancer.
All of Drew County is encouraged to come out and cheer the survivors on their first lap around the park and to stay all night. Cancer does not sleep, so for one night we will Relay without stopping to help cancer patients in our area to triumph over the disease.
