Public Service Announcement: Potlatch requests help for Dumas ballpark grant
Published by Jeff March 22nd, 2007 in Site.Potlatch employees in Arkansas City are requesting your help in seeking a community grant from Hamburger Helper for $15,000 to help rebuild the baseball/softball complex in Dumas recently destroyed by February’s tornadoes. Hamburger Helper gives away $15,000 monthly to help fund projects in communities across the nation. They select projects from the applications received from their website. Anyone can go on the website and add a comment of support for a project.
Please go here and add a comment. The more comments and support, the better the chances are for the grant being awared. Potlatch employees request, “Could you please pass this along so we can let lots of people know?”

I posted a postive comment for Dumas. I hope that many others do the same. As good neighbors, we need to support each other. Those tornados could have just as easily hit downtown Monticello. But for the Grace of God…
