The Monticello Police Dept. is investigating a burglary at Custom Wireless, HWY 278 West, last night, involving the theft of electronic equipment including a wide-screen television.

In another investigation, someone attempted to break-in at the Tobacco Superstore, HWY 425 North, overnight as well.  Entry to the building was not made.

Both cases are currently under investigation, and anyone who may have noticed any suspicious vehicles or activity near either of there business places, please contact the authorities by calling 367-3411.
