Members of the Monticello Police Department cover parts of North Main and are seen here coming down Jefferson during Monticello’s Clean Up Day today. Early rains and overcast skies kept the day cool for the city-wide effort.

U LOOK GOOD MEN
It was great to see so many groups participating in the clean-up day.
Monticello looks much cleaner because of this efforts. It would be great to see these groups, and more, continue to keep our streets and neighborhoods clean.
Thanks to Judge Damon Lampkin and Mayor Joe Rogers for their leadership!
I think this would be a great thing to do once a month!!!!!
I visited Judge Lampkins office today to turn in our Clean-Up report for my church, Northside Baptist.
His secretary told me that they still have bags left, and these will be available to any groups that want to continue to do this until the bags run out.
I will work to schedule my church to pick-up trash in the blocks around our church as often as I can.
I hope that others will do the same.
