A former city council member, who was also a candidate for the mayor’s position, will be in District Court, next week, on charges stemming from “harrassing” actions, statements, and texts, that he allegedly made or sent to 2 female UAM students.
The Drew Memorial Hospital board will hold a special called board meeting today at 11:30 am, to discuss their upcoming hospital expansion and renovation project.

Landon Walter Wayne arrived Wednesday, June 24th at 9:20AM. His birth weight was 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and 21 inches long. He is the son of proud parents, Lee and MaryBeth Forrest.

The local nurse, who was being sought in connection with the alleged April illegal abortion of a local woman was arrested Friday, on a warrant out of the Drew County Circuit Court.
