City of Monticello is currently taking Public Works applications for a full-time and part-time Public Works Laborers.

knowledge of public works and have a minimum of a high school diploma. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check and drug screen. Weather Warning Testing, Today

Drew County OEM will be doing maintenance and testing on sirens in the southwest part of the county, this afternoon.

They intend to check the sirens at Shady Grove, Greenhill, Valley, Lacey, and Midway Route.
