UAM Receives $150,000 Gift in Memory of Virginia Allen

UAM The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) recently received a donation of $150,000 from the Treadwell family in memory of Virginia Lee Treadwell Allen.

Allen, a Monticello native, passed away in May 2023. She was the eldest of seven children. Throughout her life, she held various jobs, including roles in bookkeeping and accounting, before retiring as an interior designer. Read the rest of this entry »
