Open Position At Maxwell Hardwood Flooring

Responsibilities include direct supervision of up to 12 employees in Rough Mill area of a wood flooring plant and the oversite of equipment including tilt hoist, rip saw, planer, sorting line, chop saws, conveyors and fork lift. The environment is hot in the summer and cold in the winter months.
The position reports directly to the Night Shift Supervisor that oversees all night shift production of approximately 55 people. This position will be in training to take over the Night Shift Supervisor position in a time frame of 1-5 years. This will be a long term night shift position (approximately 7 pm – 4:30 am Mon-Thurs and a few hours Friday evening early).
People skills are needed for this job.
May need to pick up weights in excess of 35 lbs. at times.
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office needed.
College degree of any type would be helpful but not required.
Work experience will be considered in place of a degree for the right person.
Pay will be reflective of background and potential for the qualified candidate. Quarterly profit sharing is paid out as a bonus incentive for management. Health insurance, 401k, and 2 weeks paid vacation are also part of this package.
