Great article! Congratulations on the position! You have always talked about how much you care about your community and in our conversations, you have always talked about how you could help make it better. Not only that, you have had an interest in surrounding communities and have given me several opportunities to work on projects with different people. I love the fact that you don’t mind sharing information that can help someone else. No matter when I’ve called on you to help, you have always answered to help me resolve the issue. It is a blessing to see a young black christian man take such a strong interest and love for his community. We need more black men like you in todays society. I have had the personal experience of working with you on projects for the church, so I know first hand Drew county is in good hands.

Congrats Lanny! First of all I’m proud of you because you are my friend, but to see a young, black, CHRISTIAN man wanting to make a difference in Drew County brings joy to my heart. Even though we don’t live there anymore, Monticello is always home. I will pray that God gives you whatever it is that you need to get the job done and done right! With all of the “drama” going on around there, Monticello needs more caring people like yourself. Again CONGRATULATIONS!
