This is a great article! Mrs. Lobitz was such a wonderful inspiration in my musical life. She is a very gifted musician and a phenomenal teacher. I hate to say that I have gotten a little rusty on the black and whites, but I can still manage to hammer out a tune here and there. You know I always was better at hearing music than reading it! Love ya!!

Mrs. Beverly Lobitz is the most amazing woman! She taught me piano lessons for several years. She taught me so much more than an extreme love for the piano.

The way that Mrs. Lobitz cared for me and had patience with me actually brought me through some difficult times in my life. I was a young teenage girl with many "ideas" about life. Some of those ideas actually led me down paths that should have never been travelled. While spending time with Mrs. Lobitz during piano lessons she would encourage me, pray with me, and always love me.

Today, I am a minister's wife and play the piano for our church. I have a daughter that also has a love for the piano. My two sons are very musical as well. The love for students is also a passion of mine today - I am the principal at Faith Christian School.

Mrs. Lobitz, thank you for contributing to who I am today. I think of you often.

I was one of Mrs. Lobitz Kids...I still remember all of the special attention that she gave me.
I miss the Vocal Lessons that she gave me, but I am proud to say that I am still singing & putting all of her good lessons to use.
She had to be patient to even attempt to teach me because I know that it was a definite struggle to keep my attention. God blessed me with such a patient instructor.
I am totalley deaf in one in and have hearing loss in the other ear too. She trained my good hearing to reconize how to stay in tune & actualley sing a good note or two.
Thanks Mrs. Lobitz
I am still singing praises to the Lord
I love you
