2012 public meeting & ice cream social at Barkada Fire Department
The Board of Directors of the Barkada Volunteer Fire Department is announcing its official closure. While it has been inactive for quite some time, the hope was that it would be possible to recruit a Fire Chief and enough volunteer firemen to man an active Department; this has not happened.
The Board wishes to express its appreciation to everybody who has supported this Department by working tirelessly or providing financial support.
