Nicholas Akers Captains Winning Quiz Bowl Team

Hamburg Elementary G/T students won first place in the SEARK Cooperative Quiz Bowl competition which was held in Monticello.
Fourteen teams from southeast Arkansas competed.
Teams with the most total points for the morning returned for an afternoon single round elimination. Other teams in the round included Monticello, Gillett, Woodlawn, and Dumas.

Congratulations to all of the participants in this years Quiz Bowl- its refreshing to see our youth participate in activities such as this and equally as good that their talents are discussed here on monticellolive.com. These kids are asked difficult questions that most adults (including me) dont know and they compete with the best and brightest using their knowledge of a vast array of topics.
