Murphy’s Cash Store, at the intersection of HWY 65 and HWY 138 (Winchester Road), was burglarized overnight, between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m..

Cash, change. and other items were taken, including an unidentified amount of cigarettes, whole packaged chickens, steaks, and other food items.

The Drew County Sheriff’s Dept. is investigating the burglary, which could be related with the series of break-ins across the three counties in the area.
